Little People, Big Dreams - Mahatma Gandhi
Mohandas grew up in the Indian city of Porbandar and dreamed of a fairer world at an early age. As a newly minted lawyer, he went to South Africa. There he was thrown out of the 1st class train compartment - because he was not white. He then organized the first ever peaceful sit-in. Back in India, he used peaceful methods to end British colonial rule and was given the honorific Mahatma – “great soul”.
Little People, Big Dreams tells the impressive life stories of great personalities: each of these women, whether artist, pilot or scientist, has achieved the unimaginable. It all started when they were little: with big dreams.
